peek (2017)

An interactive installation created by third-year Media & Interaction Design students André Andrade, Giulio Barresi, Fabiola Soavelo, Justine Reider and myself were exhibited at the KIKK festival in Namur, Belgium from November 2nd-4th 2017.

Commissioned by the festival, the installation addresses the festival’s theme of “Invisible Narrative” through surveillance cameras.

Peek

More and more of our actions are recorded. Where is the line between service, surveillance and voyeurism?

“Peek” is a modular installation that invites the visitors to explore these limits by simply putting the camera of their phones inside the structure and taking a peek.
